These terms govern your use of QuietEcho (the "service"), operated by Austin chidi (the "seller", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

QuietEcho is a quiet emotional check-in app. You can log moods, add notes, and optionally share check-ins with a partner or friends.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your country to use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Send spam, harass others, or impersonate anyone.
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Interfere with the security of the service (malware, probing, scraping).
• Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.

Intellectual property

The service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by the seller and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack, which handles billing, tax handling where applicable, and refund mechanics on our behalf.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Service availability

We work hard to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Materially breach these terms.
• Fail to pay for a paid subscription.
• Pose a security or fraud risk.
• Repeatedly or seriously violate our policies.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose). QuietEcho is not a medical or mental-health service and is not a substitute for professional help.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
